Omg just heard the news announcing an increment of 5% to electricity bills... Wtf...? It's already so expensive... Oil prices also increase... Water charges also increase... Man standard of living in S'pore is so high and expensive... What's gonna happen to all the low-income group people... the increments are somehow forcing us,middle-income family, to become low-income already liao lo... Our real income has become so low but yet there is no substitution effect for this scenario as there are no subs for UTILITIES...

Ironically, or maybe not, there is no packages or increments to wages to meet such high standard of living... What...? The govt thinks $$$ grow on tree ar...? No wonder there's an increase in terrorism and all sort of robbery... $$$ is never enough... Even the GST offset package given this year, or was it last year, to help the people cope with the increase in GST is not enough... A few hundred for 1 person's lifetime...? The govt should consider giving more offset packages for all the increases that is pervading the nation... I understand the packages are to help us adapt but how...? Cutting down on our entertainment expenses and $$$ spent on luxurious goods...? Won't life be a bore then...? Omg... Thank goodness I'm just a 18yo student, but I'm feeling the impact for my sister and parents...

Perhaps it is time to just increase everyone's wages...? Personally, I've already done things like turning off the power socket at night, turning off the water heater and also only making sure only the electrical appliances that I'm using are turned on... I earnestly pray that such little actions will help save $$$... Next I'm gonna have to control my HP bills... Hahaz...
